During the 2025 Isle of Arran Whisky Festival, which celebrated Lochranza Distillery's 30th Anniversary, the Ultimate Masterclass participants gathered together in The Filling Store to select a special cask to toast our 2026 Festival.
Guided by Lochranza and Lagg Distillery Managers Stewart Bowman and Graham Omand, the group tasted a selection of carefully chosen samples. Each one showed the depth and character we expect of Arran's single cask whisky.
The chosen cask, a First Fill ex-Sherry Hogshead, offers a dark amber whisky with aromas of cherries, black forest fruits and subtle aniseed.
A heartfelt thank you to our 2025 Masterclass participants for selecting this exceptional 10 year old Sherry cask to celebrate the Isle of Arran Whisky Festival 2026.
