We offer a range of tours all led by our fantastic tour guides who have become well known for giving some of the most entertaining and informative tours in the industry. We have a variety of different tours and something to suit all visitors. Please note that we are currently closed for refurbishment work. Our Shop and Cafe will open again on Tuesday 7th February. There’s something magical about the alchemy of whisky making, and there’s no better way to appreciate it than by visiting a distillery. As one of the few independent distilleries in Scotland - and one that proudly follows traditional practice - we promise a particularly fascinating experience. Our Visitor Centre was awarded Distillery Visitor Experience of the Year by Scottish Field Magazine in both 2014 & 2015 and we pride ourselves on offering the warmest of welcomes to our home village.
We welcome visitors all year round, with tours of the distillery and warehouse, as well as tutored tastings, and short 'Drop Inn' tours inbetween the main tours which are great for families with young children. Numbers for all tours are limited, so it’s worth booking tour places in advance. Our Visitor Centre, shop and CASKS Cafe are open every day if you’d just like to drop in although please remember that we are closed for the whole of January and will be open again on 7th February 2017.
Our winter season began on Wednesday 9th November and lasts until 1st March 2017. During this time we are open 7 days 10am - 4pm, except the month of January when we will be closed for refurbishment work until 9th February. From 1st March 2017 we will be open 7 days from 10am - 5.30pm.
Please note that our Distillery and Visitor Centre buildings will be closed for the month of January due to refurbishment work taking place. There will be no tours available during this time and our CASKS Cafe will be closed. Our Shop and Cafe will open again on 7th February. Tutored tastings will also be available from 7th February. Lochranza is the most stunning setting for a distillery and the people of Arran always have a warm welcome.
