Specially chosen for online sale by Lochranza Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman, this beautiful peated 10 Year-Old single cask (cask number 15/3514) has been matured in a second fill ex-Sherry Hogshead, imparting a rich depth of character and complexity.
As this Arran Single Malt is peated, it's particularly rare. For many years, peated spirit was produced at Lochranza on a limited annual basis. However this was retired, nearly ten years ago, in 2017. This means stocks of mature peated Arran Single Malt are naturally becoming rarer as we’ve shifted our focus of peated whisky production to Lagg Distillery on the south of the island.
