Track your delivery
Customers will be able to track their items on line by using the appropriate consignment numbers which are supplied by DHL/DPD. These can vary but in general look like CKxxxxxxxxxGB or ITxxxxxxx These codes are supplied to your email address or by SMS message therefore it is imperative you provide us with your correct email address or mobile phone number when ordering. Please also check your 'spam mail' folders for any messages.
International customers should note that their packages will be assessed by their own countries Customs Services and customers will be asked to pay VAT at their countries appropriate rate, customs handling and administrative charges. Customers will be contacted during this time to pay these fees and many countries will only allow 5 days to collect payment before returning the consignment to us.
To compensate for your own countries VAT we have ensured that our goods being delivered internationally are provided at a zero UK VAT rate to eliminate double charges.
Customs clearance can take up to 6 weeks, while your consignment is within Customs Services neither you, Isle of Arran Distillers or DHLwill be able to track your package. This can take 5 – 7 days up to 6 weeks and we ask for your patience with this as we have no influence over this process.
Where packages are returned to the distillery, we will contact you by email to ask what you would like us to do with your order. We will hold your package for a maximum of 14 days awaiting a response from you, after this time your order will be cancelled and a refund applied less our return courier costs.
Should you decide to refuse your package and it is returned to us the following will apply
- you will be charged for return courier services
- we will refund the cost of your purchase when we recieve it, minus the cost of courier services if your bottle/purchase is still in a resaleable condition.
- Unfortunately, if your purchase is not in a resaleable condition when we receive it we will be unable to provide a refund.
Customers in the UK & EU will be able to adjust their deliveries by visiting the links supplied by either DHL or DPD. There is a time limit to any alterations you wish to make with availability reducing closer to your dellivery date/time.
