Every cask of whisky filled by our production team is unique - and now you can put your name on one! Buy a private cask of new-make Arran spirit from us and we’ll look after it for you, right here on the island, until it's matured to your taste.
As a Lochranza cask owner, you’re more than just a number. Throughout the process, we’ll be on hand to support when you have questions and help you order samples so you can taste how your whisky is maturing. We’ll even arrange a private cask visit when you’re planning a trip to the Isle of Arran. Then, when the time is right, we can advise on the next steps – whether you’d like to bottle your whisky privately or sell your cask back to Isle of Arran Distillers.
Becoming a cask owner is a splendid way to secure a personal supply of our award-winning Arran Single Malt. Or – if you’re feeling generous – you could buy a cask as a gift to mark a special occasion. We hold private whisky casks for individuals, families, friend groups, businesses and organisations alike.

We enjoy fantastic long-term relationships with our cask suppliers who ensure we receive American Bourbon Barrels and Sherry Hogsheads of the highest quality.
In addition to our Sherry Hogsheads and Bourbon Barrels, we occasionally offer harder-to-find private casks for sale. These are carefully chosen for their rarity and uniqueness and made even more special once filled with our new make spirit. This year we've secured some rare first-fill Palo Cortado casks to add to our offer. These are available on a strictly limited basis.
The Cask Offer is an opportunity to lay down your own stock of the Arran Single Malt, to witness its development from new make spirit to maturity and ultimately have access to a personal supply of our award-winning whisky. Please note we do not encourage the purchase of our casks for financial investment as the market price for bulk whisky is subject to fluctuation.
