The times they are a-changing!

So many things have changed over the years and yet so many things stay the same here at Isle of Arran Distillers. Only in the last three years we saw Arran Whiskies finally reunite under one label and our sister Lagg Distillery come to life in 2019. We pushed through a pandemic (still doing that...!) and celebrated our 25th anniversary on the web in 2020. We saw the Lagg Cask Society complete and our Arran 10yo selected as best whisky of the year by you, our supporters, at the Online Scotch Whisky Awards in 2021. And we are still here, the same old passionate team producing the whisky you love every day. Always spreading the Arran word around the world while patiently waiting to open the very first cask of Lagg Single Malt.

We think it is time to celebrate on screen two men that made, and make the water of life produced on the island the exceptional dram you enjoy. An opportunity to say farewell to James MacTaggart, who dedicated his last 15 out of 45 years in the industry to the Isle of Arran Distillers dream, and welcome to Stewart Bowman who took over the reins as Lochranza Distillery Manager at the end of last year.

Join us as we raise a glass of the Arran 10yo he made to James, a true whisky legend! And help us give the warmest welcome to Stewart while we taste Arran New Make, a Distillery Exclusive Mystery Cask 16yo and a preview of the White Stag Vol. 7 alongside the casks that make this edition unique.

The event will be available to watch on the Arran Whisky Facebook Page & the Arran Whisky YouTube Page on Thursday 24th February 2022 @5pm GMT.
