A rare opportunity to purchase one of our Distillery Exclusive bottlings online. These precious and unusual bottlings are usually only available to purchase from our Lochranza Distillery Visitor Centre.
This particular Single Cask has been fully matured in a Sherry Hogshead aged 22 years. It was specially selected by our Distillery Manager David Livingstone as an excellent example of one of our older Sherry Casks which has taken on the influence of the rich Sherry wood but retained the delicate elegance of our Arran spirit. It has reached 51.3% ABV in its 22 years spent in cask, and this rich intensity only lends to the complex aromas and taste profile. This cask in particular has produced only 210 bottles and has notes of sweet spice, hazelnut and a touch of coffee and dark chocolate.
