Vinho Moscatel is a sweet, fortified wine produced in the Setúbal Peninsula region just south of Lisbon. The wine is aged in 225 litre barriques and these same casks have been used to create this special ?finish? for The Arran Single Malt. Following a maturation of 8 years in traditional oak casks The Arran Single Malt in this bottle was matured for a further 10 months in these Moscatel casks to add a new dimension to our whisky. The end result is a beautifully balanced single malt with a vibrant fruity character.
