Where to begin?
It has been a very busy few months for the Arran Malt Team.
One of the key events this summer was the launch of the
New Limited Edition Arran Peacock, first in the Icons of Arran Distillery
Series at the Edinburgh Whisky Fringe.
Granted it was not the most straight forward launch as
the cover star Albert the Peacock decided to make a break for freedom prior to
the event.
For those of you wondering, yes Albert did eventually return
to his home at the Distillery after a few weeks of havoc on Arran!
Then there was Whisky Live Paris at the end of September
where we officially launched the Arran Peacock in France. Well, that’s not strictly
true as some lucky “cavistes” were fortunate enough to taste it before everyone
else!
I spend a few days with the lovely Alix from “La
Maison du Whisky” prior to Whisky Live, visiting customers and conducting tastings
including the precious Arran Peacock.

As usual, Whisky Live Paris was excellent. The Arran Malt
stand was in a great location just inside one of the main halls and Louisa and
I were kept very busy all weekend with both amateurs and professionals alike. The Arran Peacock was very well received as well as our Arran
Malt St Emilion Cask Finish.
Many thanks go to the team at La Maison du Whisky for
organising yet another great French Festival and we look forward to attending
next year’s.
In September, Euan attended the first ever Whisky Live Sydney which
was also a big success.
The Arran Malt was indeed a big hit down under!
